I sculpted this little guy eons ago, long before my hobby involvement. Back then my 'thing' was carousel horses. I love the creativity, spirit, and all the fun colors He's been sitting in my closet, never cast, after I lost interest in carousel horses. It's a shame to never cast him, since I had already put a ton of time into him. Obviously he isn't as anatomy oriented as the Model Horse Hobby requires, but I think he's fun as an art piece. I would refine him more, of course, but he would mostly be a 'fun' horse, not meant to be shown as a model. He's classic scale (pretty close)What do you all think? Would anyone want a copy if I did a small resin run?

Sarah, he is phenomenal! WANT!
I would totally be interested in this guy!
Yes, I would love one too!
Awesome!
He's great! But what I'd really like to know is: what made you lose interest in carousel horses?
When I started sculpting model horses I was so swept up in the response to my work that everything else got left behind. Finished work meant for bronze, half finished work, etc. It's like a time capsule :)
I would be interested if he's reasonably priced.
Wow - he is **so** cool!
This is lovely---really unique and beautiful.
Oh my aunt would love one of theses! she collects carousel horses.. would it have a pole thru it like a carousel horse does? Id love to get her one if it wasn't too much money.. unless ya wanna trade something for one! lol. hey I had to ask.. but yes I love it.. I think it would sell well for you too..I bet there are alot of other carousel collectors out there.. cast it!

Lovely artwork.. its like from old roman or greek myths.
Oh, he's lovely! Though I think he needs to be in ceramic. (Of course)
Are you still thinking of doing this in a small run? He is lovely - and makes me wish I had one iota of painting talent. He would still look quite dashing in his naked white state too though.
News on the Carousel Horse front! He will be available in resin sometime in the next few weeks....stay tuned!
Where is he available? He's georgeous, he reminds me of the horses carved from black jade and during the Tang Dynasty
